God’s Big Backyard

Directors: Bridgett Sharp & Janice Arden

God’s Big Backyard is an exciting place where children learn about the goodness of God.  It takes place at 10:45 am (during the contemporary service), and is for children from the ages of 3 years up through 3rd grade.  There is an opening time with an object lesson that prepares the children for that days theme.  The children are then divided into one of four groups (by age), and led by members of the youth ministry through 4 different stations:  Starlight Stories, Snack Shack, Cozy Cave Crafts and Campsite Capers.  Finally, the children are all brought back together for a closing activity.  God’s Big Backyard is a great place for kids to have fun while growing in their relationships with Christ!

4-5-6

4-5-6 is a new class on Sunday mornings for those who are currently attending 4th, 5th and 6th grades.  It is currently on summer vacation and parents are asked to help their children in this age group enjoy and appreciate the family worship service.  

SONshine Beach

Director: Betsy Underwood

SONshine Beach is a safe and fun place for infants and toddlers, ages birth to 3 years, to play, sing and learn during both church services.  Nursery volunteers help the parents sign in the children and take any special instructions for each child.  The children spend their time playing, reading books and singing silly songs.  The volunteers are always blessed after spending the morning with the youngest members of Crestview!
